Magazine Covers Wallpaper

Danny roberts Fashion Artist Painted Covers Wallpaper

Happy Saturday!
Wow! This week went by way, way, way too quickly!
i had tons of deadlines, concerts, and planning.
But it's all good, cause it's Saturday.
Please forgive the lack of posts.
Let me fill you in: Wednesday, i got to see my friends' band, Eisley, perform.
The concert was amazing, and it was in Downtown Disney,
where i ended up buying two incredible books on Disney archive sketching and animation!!
It's incredible! i've been inspired insanely every time i look through it!
Then, Thursday night Ryan Baxley came over, and we started planning out the music album we are doing.
Super excited about it. Looks like it will be anywhere between 45-72 minutes long. ;)

Last night, I was working on drawings of Paris Fashion Week.
I did a painting of the new Chanel collection!
And... oh, my! i can't wait to show you all!
i love how it turned out!!!! it's currently my computer wallpaper.
I think it would look amazing as the cover of Vogue Paris.
I think it would be super classic looking. :)

Well, I'm about to go get coffee with my family
and then we are seeing "Where the Wild Things Are"!!
I just wanted to post the new and updated and improved Covers post.
Also, thought it might be cool to make it into a Computer Wallpaper for you all.

when everything is going wrong

and you can't see the point of going on

there's nothing that can't be turned around

nobody wants to be alone

everybody wants to love someone

out of the tree go pick a plum

why can't we all just get along

RE: loving the blog!

Hi XXXX,

Thanks for writing, and sorry for my delay in responding to you, it’s been a busy week for me. You sound so very interesting, and so much your own person to take up riding a cruiser bicycle when no one else is like you at all!

And YES, I would love to see your photos and would love to post them! I very much think that customizing your cruiser into something you love is so worthwhile and you will learn so much by doing it!

XXXX is a place I’ve always wanted visit! Perhaps you could start your own blog? You could share your experiences of what it is like to ride a bicycle where you live!

When I started my blog there were so very few doing so…now more and more join every month! Like I said I would love to see and hear so much more about XXXX. Truthfully you may find you may even become a local bike hero. So many girls who started their own bike blogs, blogging about their adventures and bicycle related topics ended up getting known in their hometowns. They did this by inspiring other girls to ride bicycles. They also made lots of new friends because of their blogs.

And in your own words; “I needed to express myself with someone who felt the same way about bicycles and fashion!” This in essence is why I started my blog… and to hear you say this makes everything I do feel worthwhile. Thank you.

Good Luck in all your Bicycle Adventures!

Shelly

{at the shops: cranberry milk}

at-the-shops-hed-23
The lovely shop Cranberry Milk is filled with wonderfully pretty French-inspired things for the home and office -- from picnic baskets to lavender mugs, numbered paper clips and polka-dot tape -- and despite being unable to read the text, it's all so beautifully photographed, everything feels as if it belongs in a charming stone cottage in Provence . . .

Charlie's Girl - London Missy on a Bicycle

Charlies Girl- London Girl on Bicycle posted at ridingpretty
(photocredit: Charlie)

Last summer Charlie took an extended vacation in Europe. He casually left a me comment last spring. He'd promise to send in photos of chic cyclists. I held him to it. Voila his favorite shot.

Charlie also had this say about it all;

"It is SO hard to get pictures of the chic riding - so please don't let your fear get in the way of asking for a picture if the opportunity strikes. I did manage to get ONE."
Solid advice Charlie!!

Though Charlie is an avid cyclist he actually rarely writes about cycling except when he goes on a bike tour - Charlie's Blog Link

For any other aspiring photogs out there who just love getting photos of dashing - inspiring! riders out on the streets, your precious TIPS and your photos are welcome here!
