sorry for the hiatus. i don't know if you have all heard about the crazy ice storm in the northeast...it was pretty bad and we still don't have power. we haven't had power since thursday night :( so i drove out to my boyfriend's fathers house for heat, a much needed shower and to let you all know what's up. hope to be back up and running soon. miss you all.

The Envelopes to the Girls

Wow! I just had a blast from the past.
i was digging through my hard drive and stumbled on two theses two pictures.
They are of the drawings i mailed over a year ago to IMG Models for Lily Cole and Gemma Ward.
I had custom made the envelopes and drew those two pictures on the inside flaps.
i don't know. i thought it would be a fun thing to post, considering everything that has happened since then.
Just think, if i hadn't shipped those envelopes, i might not have become friends with my good friend Sophie Ward
Wow! It's always so trippy looking back and seeing how events start little chain reactions.

Homemade and vintage goods are sold from bicycle baskets…

This looks to be the loveliest bicycle event! I just love it, and please visit the website. The whole concept is just so charming.

{holiday inspiration: artful arrangements}

Recently came across this unusual and unusually beautiful arrangement of baby flowering kale {above} and was reminded of a Swedish florist who created wonderful wreathes of fruits and vegetables . . .

Amazingly creative wreathes made of everyday {edible} objects such as artichokes, Brussels sprouts and fallen apples that, after careful arrangement, become anything but ordinary, and add a charming twist to festive tradition.

lately...

I couldn't write to my blog due to timeless busy days,weeks and months now Im a little bit off and have time for my precious blog.I've had a lot of pictures lately but the fact that I'm not home I can not post those right now.I've been searching an visiting tonz of boutiques,shops,shopping malls,vintage second hand sellers and also retail brands...I have a weakness to Bershka these days when I'm off work I run to the closest bershka store to check out whats new and whats in.I also love to check out people's outfits overthere who wears what...I see tons of inspiration at streets and also at stylish boutiques.I'm a bit shy to stop people to take their pictures(ok not shy but nervous).I adore taking pitures of famous brands' windows.anyway I will post pictures of what I bought lately(top shop dress,bershka tights in colours,etc).I'm also addicted to searching fashon blogs and reading tonz of them.its addictive!

Happy, happy Monday to you all.
How was your weekend?
Is Christmas approaching making your life a little more hectic?
It is for me, but Christmastime is hectic; i guess "It's the most wonderful kind of hectic of the year" (sung in Andy Williams voice)
i have a bigger "to do" list than Santa this year.
The only downside is, i don't get a plate of cookies once it's done... hah

Well, the picture today is out of Volume one of my Character Sketchbook.
i hope you like it. It's an oldie but goodie.

Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a lovely weekend and was able to find a little time to relax before the busy-ness of the holidays begins, if it hasn't already. Between dinners, being out and about and home again for a little re-organizing, the weekend was filled with fun-loving ways and a few stolen moments of repose before the start of a new and happily busy week . . .
