Laundry Night and the Bicycle

I really like the polka dot seat cover (for the rain) and that front rack on this bicycle is outstanding. Very practical for carrying the big laundry basket on!

. . . wonderfully exciting things upcoming & soon, but for now, this weekend is white roses in milk glass vases, painting things the shade of early morning lilies, a photoshoot & a dinner reservation at a favourite french restaurant, and most of all, time for dreams and champagne sorbets and blowing kisses . . .

While this may not be a fashion forward forecast, no instead it's more like a wonderful re-visit.

. . . ordinarily very few resolutions {with the exception, of course, of the yearly thought to find a better way to handle the flurry of e-mails} -- that is -- until this year, in which, for the first time in a while, there are many, many resolutions, most beginning with organizing & re-organizing, which very nearly always begins with notebooks, daybooks, sticky-notes, calendars, engraved pens & personalize writing paper . . . this year, it's all happening . . .

Hey Friends!
Well, i'm pleased to show you a new painting i did for my friend from the other side of the world, Bryanboy.
He had the great idea of having me paint his header picture,
which i was really excited to do.
It was pretty fun painting the "Power Players" of the Fashion Industry.
Also, with Fashion week coming up, it was fun getting into the fashion show mode.
The people in the picture from left to right are the following...

. . . shall always adore white, light-flooded rooms for the understated beauty and feeling of serenity they invoke, but truth be told, am a maximalist at heart, bits of boarding passes and foreign currency tucked away in pretty boxes, every issue of every magazine overflowing from shelves and coffee tables and so, fell completely for everything about these rooms -- the charming mix of tray and glass tables, warm and rich orange, pink & turquoise intermingled with soft sable and flowers everywhere, walls of artwork and paneling and molding, luxurious ruching, tassels and pleats -- everything working perfectly together as if part of a beautiful and unwinding story . . .
