I slept at almost 4 am in the morning and woke up at 10 am in the morning and went to the gym.I skipped pilates course and worked out individually.It is a VERY hot day,I went to my colorist to have my hair dyed.My hair is almost perfect now that I have "Graduation" at santral campus tomorrow.I can't believe I'm graduating from Financial Economics Master of Science.I feel good.The hair salon I frequent was d@mn crowded and my colourist was too busy.There was a wedding group that they had their hair and makeup done.But there was no bride...LOL.
My colourist is at Cadde.I dont like Cadde very much.Cause people have the least style of all major locations of Istanbul.I dont get it.There is a brand-logo mania there.At the hair salon I've read an article about Ayn Rand...I wanted to buy her book but it was 65TL.I bought another book called Improbable By Adam Fawer.I was checking it out for a long time.But I will buy Ayn Rand's book soon.The article about her ideas and thoughts are so impressive.Now I'm searching Objectivism.Here's a piece of her:
“My philosophy, in essence, is the concept of man as a heroic being, with his own happiness as the moral purpose of his life, with productive achievement as his noblest activity, and reason as his only absolute.”
And..After book store I checked out Zara and Top Shop sales.I couldn't find anything to buy so I skipped.Zara is not my personal style but sometimes I find rarely nice pieces from there.But this time there was none.I saw my lemming shoes@Top Shop but they were ran out of the size.I saw this cool dress in and then I saw it was on Top Shop's windows.Cool dress.Hot weather.

Fanciful Fourth of July... Bicycyle Frippery
(photocredit via A Fanciful Twist)
Frippery is not a word I get around to using very often, so how delighted I was on all sorts of levels to share with you this photo. Just a beautiful image don't you think and full of frippery! Notice the luscious ruffled dress, toy piano, the musical lute(?), and pretty yellow flowers all as cargo. Now, to excite and magnify my own 4th of July feelings, I want to dress the part. So I covet those same stripped ribbons plus I seriously want to find a whimsical white dress like this one... and then go ride a very blue USA bicycle!
Have a happy and safe 4th of July everyone!
p.s. Curious, does anyone else ever get the urge to dress up yourself and your bicycle for holidays?

{something i'd forgotten}
"Sitting there, alone in a foreign country, far from my job and everyone I know, a feeling came over me. It was like remembering something I'd never known before or had always been waiting for, but I didn't know what. Maybe it was something I'd forgotten or something I've been missing all my life. All I can say is that I felt, at the same time, joy and sadness. But not too much sadness, because I felt alive. Yes, alive. That was the moment I fell in love with Paris. And I felt it fall in love with me."

Lost in Galatasaray and Tünel VOL.2
I stare long enough at the people I see in the streets and I am frequenting interesting second hand stores at Taksim.The back streets of Istiklal are narrow and hard to walk.There are many tourists walking around me having maps in their hands and some have backpacks(God am I the only one trapped in Istanbul?I want to travel forever like I have no duties and no job and nothing to do LOL).Back to real life from my deep thoughts and lusts,I went into one store I like to check out the shoes.Suprisingly there were no shoes for my taste and I even looked at Top Shop sale my favorites were gone.But this small boutique was selling Italian shoes and (I guess) second hand high end brand clothes...Dresses are my love so I checked out their designer clothes(not second hand) and also second hand dresses.There I saw tags of MARC JACOBS,DVF,Burberry and many ANNA SUI.I see that I didn't take pictures of my favorite Anna Sui dress but here are my favorite pieces I did a double check.The prices were high and there was no shopping friend with me I didn't buy anything for a better decision.I was going to go for a MARC JACOBS one but it was a 2 times bigger size than my normal size.So I skipped MJ one.D@mned.

Style Wagon...Bicycle Woodie
Spotted this Woodie Bicycle Wagon...
Very recently we had a Woodies on The Wharf. Here's my favorite Woodie, it's a beautiful, delicious Coral color...
This got me thinking about the possibilities of customizing the Woodie bicycle wagon with the same flourish and style as the vintage car Woodie. Now wouldn't that make a styling bicycle ride!
Tikis, flower leis, totems and away we go in a surfer paradise with a bicycle wagon Woodie.
