Attack of the Crazy Models
Hey Friends, how is the weekend going for you?
Anything exciting?
My weekend has been super laided back and chill (which is the way i like it!)
Watched one of my favorite movies, Hook!
It's been so long! i love that movie! "Rufio Rufio Ruuuufiiiiiioooo!"
The drawing today is Number 172 out Volume 2 of my Character Sketchbook.
If you are new to the site and don't know what the Character Sketchbook is, Click Here to read up on it...
it's one of my all time favorite projects.
And if you do know about it...
I have a question for you.
How many of you would be interested in getting the Character Sketchbook if i find a publisher?
I thought it would be cool project to publish because i think it shows anyone can learn how to draw,
it just takes hard work and practice. ;)
Oh, on another note, i had a really funny dream last night involving a supermodel and an adventure on a resort island! haah i might have to post it ;) haha
Well, i hope you like the drawing. It's kinda fun/crazy ;)

DREAMING OF THANKSGIVING
I remember my client coming to me and saying she had just committed to having her home on the Harvest Tour, an annual event in her town which draws crowds from near and far. She asked if I was up for the challenge. Once I picked my jaw up off the floor (because I realized the commitment and hours involved) I couldn't wait to get started. It was actually so much fun to organize once we got going, but I reminded her we needed to actually finish designing and decorating her home before we could begin staging it for the tour. Countless hours were spent acquiring all the items we needed to create "Thanksgiving Day" in October. Many of the jobs, such as the pumpkin carving and fresh floral arranging, couldn't be done until the last minute. Needless to say my client and I never went to sleep that night and found ourselves banging out the very last detail as people were lining up at the door. I guess we were on an adrenaline rush at that point!! The end result was wonderful and we raised a great deal of money for the school association. I thought I'd share some photos from it with you. Hopefully it will inspire you to start decorating for Thanksgiving day!!

IMHO and in a nutshell... Just Go Live It.
Q: Live what you say?
A: Live like you mean it. Ride a bicycle like you love it. Just be your fabulous, inspiring self and no doubt someone will see you one day and say to herself "If she can do it, so can I."

A Model Skeleton
Hey, Hey, Hey. How are you all doing today?!
Wow, i had a long one.
Been working a lot lately...
How is the week going for you?
Anything exciting happening?
The drawing today brings back old memories;
i drew this almost 3 years ago in Volume 1 of my Character Sketchbook.
I actually don't have the original drawing of this anymore,
I gave to Gemma Ward a year and a half ago when she and Sophie came over.
We were sitting going through the Character Sketchbook drawings,
which was really fun and interesting cause i love sharing my drawing with my drawing subject-matter!
But anyways, she picked this one out as one of her favorites, so i gave it to her.
Awe, good times. Shoot, makes me miss my Australian sista Sophie so much ;(
Well, my friends, i hope you enjoy this line drawing!
