Just To Pass the Time
Hello friends, i'm just working right now on a painting,
so i thought i would post a quick video to pass the time.
i think i posted it like 6 months ago but the quality was pretty bad so i re-uploaded it yesterday.
The video is one i made 3 years ago for my friend.
She had never seen the sport of wrestling before,
and since i had been wrestling since i was 3 yrs. old,
and was currently coaching the sport, i put together this video of clips of me wrestling
when i was 4 yrs old and in high school...
and since there were no digital cameras back when i was a little lad,
i had to film the tv to digitize it, so if you see me sitting in the reflection on the video, that is why! haha
Hope you like it.

Flower 'Bicycle Bonnet' -- Easter
(ridingpretty bicycle helmet cover prototype, thrifted flower skirt, stirrup leggings, gladiator sandals, vintage motobecane bicycle)
This was what I wore for my ride on Easter...I just finished this in time to wear it for Easter. It's my newest bicycle helmet cover with changeable flower attachment. It's all handmade. The bicycle helmet cover has an especially nice brim that keeps my face well shaded.
p.s. I'll be putting up more pics of the helmet cover (which will show it in better detail) very soon!

The Character Sketchbook 159
Wow! Thank you everyone for your amazing comments; really means alot.
It definitely was a long day for me, so that was perfect encouragement throughout the day.
I thought i would post one of my favorite pages from my Character Sketchbook Series.
For some reason this was one of the hardest pictures for me to draw.
But i think that is what makes it my favorite!
It's fun how that works, huh?
I have a big day tomorrow, shipping out all these print orders,
so don't worry for you that ordered, they're all going out tomorrow! :)
i have to say, the new prints look really cool. i was so excited when i saw them.
{unravelling}
Very nearly unravelling with all the busy-ness of the past few weeks . . . a deep breath and out for dinner for a languid and leisurely break, and of course, the magical stillness and quiet beauty of these photographs. There is just something about the ocean that has such a calming affect . . .

Teens on Cruiser Bicycles - Beautiful Santa Cruz
Two Teen Girls...
Both girls so adorable! I love what both are wearing for their sea side bicycle ride.
To start I especially like the mix. The first one has capri length leggings with lace trim, little denim skirt with shiny pastel iridescent sequins on the pockets, plus a very very practical cable fisherman's style sweater. The second one mixes lime green and vibrant red, plus notice her 'mardi gras' style beads, also so very iridescent. A cute, black knit mini and 'skinnies' finish off her look.
Both are riding great looking cruisers...
Yes indeed, quite stylish teens!
