I don't know about you, but I'm a sentimentalist. I just love old photographs from the past,
especially ones of family members.

Like they say, a picture speaks a thousand words. Just one photo in your collection can tell you so much about a relative you never really knew or didn't know in the time frame when the photo was taken. We can learn so much about our ancestors and our lineage from just one small sepia vintage photo. I have gone hunting in boxes in the attic to learn a little bit more about who I am and where I came from. I just cherish these photos and have been busy finding the perfect frames and places to display relatives from my past. But as you can see, putting them in a frame isn't they only way to appreciate these old photos
Propping them up in a vintage frog
or looking at them through a magnifying glass
or scattered with old bingo cards and other ephemera does the trick

Who knew an old drawer pull, some upholstery strapping and an old piece of lumber could look this good???
The woman in the center of this photo is my grandmother with her sisters. The saying on this sachet about sisters is the perfect way
to tell your sister how much you cherish her
to tell your sister how much you cherish her
I just love finding unique ways to make my memories last.
