Life is beautiful.No matter what.I adore my every single day.I try to be the best person I can be and try to avoid negative people and keep myself safe.I am just feeling different that's only because the year is ending.Have you done New Year Eve plans yet? What will you wear? What will "istanbul fashion addict" wear?:) I haven't decided yet but its not a big deal.Its New Year's Eve but don't let it be a huge marketing lie.Please!

Today I wanted to have french manicure, that I did not have for a long time.I like it only in summers.But you know that I miss summer days.I need to put some flower dresses on me cause I sometimes give up the summer feel.

I know that I am speacial.No matter what.Who whatever says.It doesn't change the fact that I am speacial.I don't want to waste any of the last days of 2009 feeling something different than special.

I have some e-mails from you (aka. my readers) that I oughtta reply.I will reply them soon.And I love recieving e-mails from you.No matter how freak you are,I love you all.


As I should fashionforward, I am posting some speacial photographs from Bora Aksu show.I have some pieces designed by him for Koton(designer lounge).

Irving Penn 1917 – 2009

Well Friends, We all lost a genius today.
Legendary photographer Irving Penn died today at age 92.
I have to say, I'm pretty bummed about his passing.
I feel like the number of Old Great Artists like him keep dwindling down.
He is one of my all time favorite photographers...a true inspiration...
I mean, he was still working in his 90's!
So awesome! Shoot! He is so, so, so amazing!
I just hope we (young artists) can take the baton and inspire the world like Irving has.

As a Tribute to him,
I thought I'd share these two paintings today.
The first painting is an old picture of Irving Penn in the the military.
The second one is of the Nude Portrait he did of Kate Moss.
I really tried to do the painting in a way that would do justice to Irving's incredible Black & Whites.

New York Fashion Week Sept 2009

Hello Friends!
I'm home! Finally! Sorry about the lack of blogging!
My internet connection in New York was painfully terrible, to say the least! hah
But now that i'm home, i plan on giving you a good, detailed review of the shows & trip,
as well as having some drawings and paintings of the collections coming very soon! ;)
Shoot! i have so much to tell you!
But first things first...
I put this video together for you.
The video is a compilation of videos my brother and I shot during the last week.
A few fashion shows featured in the video are Donna Karan, Siki Im, and Gerlan Jeans.

The music used in the video is from one of my favorite bands named "South".
The song is off of the album "With the Tides" .

Oh yes! My friend, the beautiful and lovely Miss Gala Gonzalez has a little cameo in the video ;)

Sophie Ward is Officially Back!

It is my Biggest Pleasure to announce my good friend Sophie Ward is Officially Back Modeling!
A few months back, Soph told me that she thought she was going to start modeling and writing full time.
How amazing of an idea is that?
