Happy Birthday Stacy!

Hello Friends!
Well, I'm pleased to say, it's my good friend Miss Stacy Dupree's Birthday.
She turns the big 21 today! woot woot!
So i thought a "Queen Stacy" portrait was in order.
If you all aren't familiar with her, she's a singer and writer of the band Eisley.

Also, Stacy, Sophie Ward, and I are working together on a Collaboration Project called "The Siren Who Loved".
Basically, the project is the coolest thing i have worked on by far!

P.S. On a side note, the dress Stacy is wearing in the the picture i drew,
is one of the first dresses i have ever designed and sewed! haha! Wow, like 4-5 years ago ;)

The Siren Day 4 Hawaii

Hello i'm back!
Lost the internet for another night, but i'm back.
Sitting in Miss Alice's house right on the water on the North Shore; it's amazing!
This is the drawing i did on the plane of a siren.
She is just drifting out to the boy who crashed up ahead.

Oh thanks for the great name suggestions!
i love all the names, still formulating the exact name.

Oh and also, should be posting some new pictures on the Image Diary soon enough!

Meet The Inspiration Book.

Well as i mentioned in earlier post I'm going to be working on a collaboration project with lovely Sophie Ward and wonderful Stacy Dupree. A few weeks ago i collected images that i felt reflected the story line of our project. And then i put together a book of inspiration to help give us a vision for the Project. The book is 355 pages. None of the pictures are mine. just images found on-line. I'm really excited how it turned out. Even though the book is just an "in-house" book i wanted to post a few excepts out of each section, in hopes it inspires yawl. hope you like it.

A Few Drawings Over The Last Two Days...

This is a drawing i did tonight of a girl from Sweden named, Emma Arvida Elisabeth Byström. she was kind enough to post some of my work on her blog today. Click on the drawing to check out her blog. :)

This is a picture i did for my friend Stacy Dupree. I drew her as a siren for inspiration... it;s for this up coming project working on. i'll be posting more about it in the future. and the next two drawings are from my character sketchbook. almost done with volume two.

so yesterday i got a book with one of my all time favorite artist, Aubrey Beardsley in it.
i got super inspired by seeing his work in print form so that night when i got home from work
i drew this.... hope you likes.

First Sketch

well today was kinda a wierd day and spent it really tired. i've been working alot.
but today i did my first sketch for this up coming project i'm doing. it is super sloppy, and i was just goofing around hope you like it. for more info on the siren project i reposted the write on it from Paper Castle Press web site
