2. A pair of sunglasses -- to provide mystery!

3. A book by Françoise Sagan because she has an incredible perspective on life and was so rock'n roll -- in the French way, of course.

4. A pair of Repetto ballet flats (the real dancer ones with very soft soles) -- great after long hours in heels.

5. A pen. To write, of course, but also to put your hair up when you're tired of having it in your face. I don't know why, but every French girl does that!

CONFIRMING THE NEW EDITOR IN CHIEF: EMMANUELLE ALT

Fashion director Emmanuelle Alt is now the new editor of Vogue Paris.She's well known for her work of editorials and her personal style(check out streetstyle blogs camping in Paris and London and NYC and Milan).The president of Condé Nast France: Xavier Romatet confirmed that Emmanuelle Alt will take the role of editor-in-chief from February 1st.For the past ten years, Alt has worked under the current editor-in-chief, Carine Roitfeld, as the magazine's fashion director.Isn't it rare to see a fashion director as editor? That's a real success factor.

what about Carine Roitfeld? She's the icon.

Under Roitfeld's influence of editorial leadership, Vogue Paris had huge record levels of sold copies and advertising. Carine Roitfeld had a work of editing the title and also she had worked&styled many of the fashion shoots of Vogue Paris with her significant effect inside the magazine.
