Morning morning!
Wow! Thank you for all your kind comments on the video!
I'm officially done with the painting,
so I'm really excited to post it tonight! :)
The photo today is one i took of my friend Miss Bunny Bisous, Julia Frakes.
It was right after we left the Gerlan Jeans show. My brother Dave and Julia and I had a lovely lunch
out at the Statue of Christopher Columbus at Columbus Circle.
I took this picture during that time.
I really like the motion in the picture.
I hope you like it :)

She is amazing; she's a writer, editor, stylist, you name it, and she can do it ;)
Well hope you like the pic of her and if you stare into her glasses, my brother Dave is in the picture too.

Remembering Rachel

Hey Friends, how was your weekend?
Mine was great! My Family and i went Stand up paddle boarding today,
and it was pretty fun.
Also i finally finished Editing the video i shot at Rachel Antonoff's Spring 2011 Presentation!
I'm really happy on how the video turned out.
My goal was to create a video that captured the mood i felt at the presentation
(which is pretty much the mood i feel 85.3% of the time... hah)
the song in the video is from a group called "Slowblow".
And this song has been one of my favorites for a while so i was so happy that it was a perfect fit for this video!
Let me know what you think!
I hope you like it! :)

Hey Friends!
Got some great news!
I'm in Vogue Nippon!
I'm so excited!
I've been a big big big Fan of Vogue Nippon for awhile!
Actually, one of the first Vogue covers i ever drew was a Vogue Nippon cover of Heather Marks.
Ok Yea, so the magazine arrived today,
and it was amazing thumbing through the issue and seeing so many of my web friends in there.
Early in the issue, i stumbled on the lovely and wonderful Miss Pandora, Louise Ebel.
Then in the Social Media Sections, it was great seeing Jane Aldridge (seaofshoes) & Judy Aldridge (Atlantis Home), Tavi Gevinson (The Style Rookie), Bryanboy, Susie Lau (style bubble), and Julia Frakes (Bunny BISOUS)!
I have to say it was so trippy having my picture next to Carine Roitfeld (French Vogue)! hahaha
i wish i could read Japanese cause the issue looked amazing!
Oh also if you noticed the painting on the third image...
That is a blogger Portrait i did of Tomoko Suzuki who is Vogue Nippon's blogger.
Check out her blog at VogueJapan.blogspot.com.
I hope you're having a wonderful day! :)

Julia In Motion -- Video

Well, I'm excited to unveil the 5th Speed Painting Video.
It's me painting Julia Frakes Benefit Invite.
I tried something a little different this time around.
So, I picked out this genius song by Yann Tiersen,
before i even started the drawing...
Then i counted how many beats per minute there were in the song.
Also, i broke the song up into 4 main parts.
So then my goal was to try to create a visual that matched the music,
which means i had to draw a line and then stop and take a picture, and so on...
It was brutal, i'm not going to lie. haha
Trying to pay attention to the drawing, and also counting how many pictures i had taken,
so i could coordinate different mediums coming into the music....
Basically, this video was kinda crazy to make...
but i really like how it turned out.
Feel free to repost or embed the video anywhere you want ;)
There are a lot of subtleties in this video which makes it fun to watch and re watch.
I hope you like how this Stop Motion Video turned out.
If you could help me get the word out about the video, that would be incredible!
Hope your having a great day!
I love you all so much! :)

P.s. if you watch it over on youtube you can watch the High Definition (HD) version of it! :)

Save a Deer By Helping a Bunny

Hello, hello my friends! Well, just finished working and about to head down to Pasadena to
see the lovely Audrey Tautou preform in "Coco Chanel" with Fashion is Poison and alot of other bloggers.
Should be really fun!
I'm really excited!
Today's drawing of my friend, the beautiful, kind, and lovely Julia Frakes of the blog Bunny Bisous.

She asked me if I would do a painting for her for a benefit for animals that she is working with.
When i thought about painting Julia, with an animal, and for a good cause... I said yes instantly!
I have a Video of the painting that is coming soon... i think it's the best one yet! ;)
As for info on the benefit, i thought i would quote Julia on it. :)

"While I cannot reveal too many details quite yet, one of my pet holiday projects is an upcoming benefit that I am co-chairing with designer Rachel Antonoff to raise awareness about animal cruelty as manifested on two fronts: barbaric factory farms (with funds proffered to Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary) and merciless puppy mills (to benefit Maddie's Fund).

Scheduled to betide in a magnificent historical Manhattan haunt this mid-December, a killer hosting committee will preside over a silent art auction featuring works created especially in a forest and fauna theme [including the original painting above] by the likes of Kime Buzzelli and Danny Roberts alongside special musical performances by fun., Steel Train, and other sublime surprise guests. " - Julia Frakes

P.S. I'm currently really, really, sorry and really frustrated... I got all your comments back cause i switched back to igorandandre.blospot.com
but now all your new comments are gone... :(
Forgive me! Don't worry, i'm done changing everything. It will stay this way for good...
I pasted below the comments that got deleted.
Again, so sorry for that!
