{a brand new month}

. . . an entire thirty-three days of the new year has already come and gone, and so far, things are off to a beautiful start -- have somehow, someway, managed to keep all resolutions, and for some long-forgotten {sentimental, perhaps, romantic, for certain} reason, february has always been one of my very favourite months . . .

. . . never one to look too far ahead, always preferring to stay in the moment, have been noticing {for quite some time now} valentine's day things already all around, and could not help but daydream {just a little}, remembering how simply pretty the palest pink satin ribbon can be . . .

{holiday inspiration: rose wristlet}

. . . happened upon this pretty leather rose wristlet entirely by accident late this morning, over coffee and a chocolate croissant . . . designed to be a wrist wrapping bracelet, or corsage tied on with a dangling suede bow, with other suggestions being a handbag accessory or elegantly wrapped around a low ponytail, would imagine it just as lovely wrapped around napkins for a festive dinner party or atop a gift enveloped in kraft or shimmery gold paper for the holidays . . .

. . . although this year it's all heavy kraft paper and endless lengths of velvet smokey lavender ribbon, also adore the idea of white on white opalescence and starfish, and shiny satin ribbons embellished with vintage and glittery rhinestone pins . . .
