. . . a very favourite blogger collaboration must be alix from the cherry blossom's girl's with french lingerie company étam -- the pieces are so perfectly pretty and draped in sheer romance, it's nearly impossible not to be swept up in the delicate ruffles, elegant lace, and powdery whisps of chiffon . . .

. . . a love affair with lace for as long as can remember, and this pretty underthing is just the thing for lounging about on an early march morning, just before coffee and croissants and a brand new day . . .

. . . an entire thirty-three days of the new year has already come and gone, and so far, things are off to a beautiful start -- have somehow, someway, managed to keep all resolutions, and for some long-forgotten {sentimental, perhaps, romantic, for certain} reason, february has always been one of my very favourite months . . .
happy brand new month! hope it is filled with endless love & possibilities,
xo

. . . sequins, organza, tweed and georgette, cotton organdie and silk brocade, tulle and pompoms, and frills and froth, continuing on with a love for things australian recently, and desperately head over heels for mrs. press, sydney-based and overflowing with luxurious finishes and the finest fabrics, perfect for the girl who lives "a world of 1930s silk chemises, french knickers, fragile kimonos, champagne breakfasts and antique lace . . ."
{p.s.} if you've left a lovely comment here this morning but do not see it, it was accidently deleted -- apologies! {& thank you xo}

. . . there was much reminiscing about grandmothers, sad stories about never having had an engagement ring, attempts to sway with flattery and even a little bribery, a few brave men, one of whom wanted to give the prize to the woman of his dreams, but in the end, there could only be one . . . and so, the very warmest congratulations to . . . kristina from texas, the lucky randomly selected winner of the stunning, stunning diamond stacking band give-away:
*** congratulations, kristina! ***
thanks to everyone who entered & hope you're having a perfectly lovely {holiday} monday,
xo
{p.s.} most hilarious comment goes to anne @ the city sage, with offers of foot massages & chocolate chip cookies . . . and more fun photographs by hans van brakel here

A pretty, pretty chiffon camisole in the softest hue and heart-shaped cookies . . . While not everyone may be fussed about Valentine's Day, I quite adore it . . .
