. . . for this morning, two lovely things -- stacks upon stacks of hardcover books and an enormously luxurious bouquet of bright spring blossoms -- [not to mention the floor-to-ceiling windows, ribbons of light and perfect view of the gardens] . . .

{home inspiration: manhattan loft}

. . . have been in love with ochre's stunning arctic pear chandelier for as long as can remember, but had never imagined just how lovely it could look intermingled with washed floorboards, an antique mirror and a periwinkle tufted chesterfield . . .

. . . so many lovely things to tell you today, but as they say, the best laid plans . . . home again after being away for the past few days and couldn't possibly describe the feeling of first stepping into the familiar entryway more beautifully than these nostalgia-laden photographs by max-kim bee -- a feeling of being perfectly enveloped in a softly ethereal and moody light filled with daydreams and the fluttering leaves of possibilities . . .
