. . . must confess, have been avoiding re-organising the closets for spring & summertime, for it is rather a monumental, somewhat overwhelming task, and shoes seem to be overtaking the place, making mornings quite a flurry, and so, a little inspiration before it begins . . .
. . . fluttery pleated skirts with a hint of soft coral, elegant leather trenches and sheer blush-hued dresses, beautiful cashmere skirtsuits -- and suddenly, the workday has just gotten a little more chic . . .
{p.s.} isn't that trench an amazing shade of green?

Hello Hello! How was your weekend? I saw a brilliant movie called the "The King's Speech". If you haven't seen it, go see it. It's such a moving movie. Loved it!
So I'm happy to present you with a new Speed Painting Video. As your remember, a month ago i started watching Hayao Miyazaki and i saw his movie "My Neighbor Totoro". The main girls in the English version of the movie were played by, at the time very young little sisters Elle & Dakota Fanning. I was blown way how amazing they were in that movie. And then recently, i stumbled across a beautiful editorial of Elle Fanning (not sure what magazine it was from). She has a really great look. She has a little bit of Gemma/Sophie Ward look going on, plus she was wearing a dress from Valentino's spring 2011 collection, and I thought she would be perfect in my pop culture series, so the other day i did this painting and made this video for yawl. I had to do some finishing touches on the painting, but will post it tomorrow! I hope you like the video!
. . . have been known to wear red lipstick nearly everywhere -- on early morning walks with the dog, at the shops and in the rain, and sometimes even to the gym, but very rarely, if ever, decorate with or wear the colour red . . . and yet, somehow, and only next to gold {an all-time favourite}, shades of scarlet, crimson and vermilion, always elegant and wonderfully festive in the form of short and stylish party dresses, are perfectly and utterly irresistable at this time of year . . .
. . . hello! anotherexceptionally wonderful weekend of gauzy mornings and dusky bookshops, ruffled eyelet and lacy bedskirts, sunny, sunny afternoons and inspiration everywhere . . . and it's monday again, and as you know, at the end of every week, there are always weekend wishes & a few lovely links -- oftentimes late, {sometimes even sunday}, and yet this past weekend was somehow and completely missed in the whirlwind of skipping town for quieter places, and since still away for a little while longer, thought it might be lovely to include a few things today . . .
happy monday! hope your week is off to a beautiful start, ~ roséline xo
. . . crazy, crazy for this stunningly beautiful valentino dress, belted and worn over a vintage christian dior haute couture brassiere and utterly perfect for this summer's endless dinner reservations and sultry nights in the city . . .
{p.s.} nearly always drawn to softer colours & focus in photography, and yet quite adore the drama and high contrast of this shot {image: jacqueline jablonski photographed by willy vanderperre for v magazine, styling by olivier rizzo via a glamorous little side project , belt by prada}
. . . hello! had posted these bronzy & bedecked with bows valentino peeptoes on the side project this morning, but has been one of those busy, busy days {and so exceptionally sleepy for some reason} and they're so daintily pretty and summer perfect, had to share them here as well -- can imagine them with a pair of tailored city shorts, a high ponytail and a silk blouse . . .
. . . had such fun composing the last mix that was utterly inspired to create another and perhaps shall even be a regular occurence here on {this is glamorous} . . . and so, a lovely new collection of the things that are drifting prettily through thoughts on this perfect thursday afternoon . . . . . . chevron & herringbone floors
